On Monday evening, the Rowan Chamber of Commerce kicked off its Total Resource Campaign in conjunction with the Business After Hours mixer at Trinity Oaks. The theme for this year’s campaign is “Go for Gold,” and attendees dressed in Olympic-themed attire while enjoying Parisian cuisine, courtesy of Trinity Oaks.

“We want to encourage firms who are not yet members of the Chamber to go for the gold and support our business advocacy organization,” said Steve Fisher (F & M Bank) Chair-elect and Campaign Chair.

Fisher has selected a great group of team captains to lead the campaign efforts:

  • Dillon Brewer, Young Professionals, Cloninger Ford
  • Elia Gegorek, Minority Business Council, Gegorek & Associates Realty
  • Donna Groce, Trinity Oaks, Lutheran Services Carolinas
  • Carrie Hanneman, F & M Bank
  • Christine Lynn, Catawba College
  • Terry Osborne, Rowan-Kannapolis ABC Board
  • Pete Teague, Livingstone College
  • Brad Walser, Walser Technology Group

After the kick-off, all campaign volunteers will participate in sales training sessions to learn about the Chamber’s new benefits and services.

The campaign will continue through September 13, with prizes being awarded at the Chamber’s September 16 Board Meeting. The campaign aims to recruit 30 new members, achieve a 90% retention rate for first-year renewals, secure Tiered Benefit Investments, and generate $5,000 in non-dues revenue. Each team captain has recruited volunteers to assist them, and all participants will be eligible for great prizes. The top producer will win a prize package valued at over $2,500.

Additionally, special perks are available for new members who join during the campaign. There’s no better time to join the Rowan Chamber. For more information, please visit www.rowanchamber.com or contact the Chamber at info@rowanchamber.com.
