The Rowan Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of the 2024-25 Power in Partnership (PIP) season. The season will kick off at Trinity Oaks, located at 728 Klumac Road, on Thursday, September 19, at 7:30 a.m. The theme for the first program is “Back to School.”

Winston McGregor, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of The Innovation Project, will be the featured speaker, with an introduction by Carol Hendon of Rowan-Salisbury Schools. Global Contact Services is the sponsor for the September PIP breakfast.

McGregor brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the event. As COO of The Innovation Project, she manages a $25 million+ grant portfolio, driving innovations in small, large, urban, and rural school districts across North Carolina to enhance student success. Since joining The Innovation Project in November 2023, McGregor has been a pivotal figure in fostering public-private partnerships at the national, state, and local levels.

“The Chamber is very excited about the PIP kick-off,” said Terry Osborne, Chair of the Board with the Rowan-Kannapolis ABC Board. He continued, “We want all our Chamber members to get their Power Cards now so they don’t miss out on any of the PIP speakers and high-level networking opportunities.”

The Power in Partnership breakfast series offers attendees a unique opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast while engaging in valuable networking, learning from industry leaders, and discussing the latest trends and challenges facing the community. The 2024-25 PIP season will feature a stellar lineup of speakers, including top North Carolina elected officials and business leaders. The upcoming PIP breakfast dates are as follows: September 19, October 17, November 21, December 19, January 16, February 20, March 20, April 17, and May 15.

Chamber members are encouraged to purchase a Power Card, which offers a discounted price for the entire series and the convenience of not having to make reservations each month. Non-Power Card holders are welcome to make individual reservations, but the deadline is Tuesday, September 17, by 5 p.m. You can register online HERE.

The cost to attend is $25 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members, which includes breakfast, networking opportunities, and the program. To make reservations or inquire about sponsorship opportunities, please contact the Rowan Chamber at 704.633.4221 or info@rowanchamber.com.
