Are you new to the Rowan County Young Professionals (RCYP)? Feeling a bit shy about diving into events and networking opportunities? We've got the perfect solution for you! Introducing Pro Pals — your personal welcome wagon to the RCYP community.

What is Pro Pals?
Pro Pals is an innovative program designed to make your entry into RCYP smooth and enjoyable. As a newcomer, you'll be matched with an existing RCYP member who knows the ropes. Your Pro Pal will be your guide, friend, and your first connection in our community. They will accompany you to events, introduce you to other members, and help you feel at home within RCYP.

What does it mean to be a RCYP member?
Becoming a member of the Rowan County Young Professionals (RCYP) means you’re part of a vibrant community aimed at fostering professional and personal growth among young adults. Here’s what being a member involves:

  • You are between the ages of 21 and 45, actively seeking to grow your professional network and personal development.
  • You engage with the RCYP community by attending events, supporting initiatives, and contributing to our collective success. We recognize that life can be busy, especially for young professionals. Whether you attend many events or just a few, your presence and participation are valued. There is no expectation to attend everything; what matters is your willingness to stay connected and involved at your own pace.
